Very nice for the price!

Im a member of my High School Band as well as many other local community bands and I have received nothing BUT compliments on this horn. It speaks very well in all registers and has a good quality sound for a bass clarinet. This is not the BEST bass clarinet but for the money I would recommend this horn to anyone looking for an extraordinary clarinet for a good price! Great for High School musicians and college.

It's a nice clarinet :)

I'm in 10th grade concert band and I've been using this clarinet for about 4-5 years. It's been great to me. It sounds very nice out of the box and everyone else who has tried it has complimented me on how easily it plays and how easy the keys are compared to their own horns. I have a bonade inverted ligature and that works nicely, and I'm about to get a new mouthpiece. I'm happy with it :)

I've been playing on a Selmer bass clarinet that belongs to the high school, and of the bass clarinets I've played I would say it's not my favorite. It's decent when you're playing for a concert band and not quite looking for a proffessional job; however, if you are looking at a musical career on this instrument in the long run, I would recommend a yamaha for the time being. It might be priced the slightest bit higher, but in the long run, it will most definitely be worth it.

My favorite instrument.

It is pretty easy to play. The case is pretty heavy with the instrument inside.

Selmer is a good brand from which to pick your wind instruments from. Consider it.
