Professional quality ligature for rubber mouthpieces.
This FLEXITONE ligature is for rubber mouthpieces. It will fit clarinet, and alto and tenor sax. They facilitate a perfect fitting of the reed to the mouthpiece, allowing it to vibrate freely and also amplifying the diffusion of the sound. Using an easy push-fit system, the reed is held perfectly, so that it stays in place even if the mouthpiece is adjusted. It is available in silver, brass and nickel with the following attributes.
Brass : Warm and natural sound
Silver: Brillant and defined sound
Bronze: Full and rich sound

Comments about Rigotti Flexitone Ligature for Bb Clar, Tenor Sax Ebonite, Alto Sax Ebonite:
I bought the Flexitone to try in place of my BG L13 strap-type lig. After a week plus I like the Flexitone better. It makes my tenor ring -- I can hear more overtones, more metal. Initially, I was getting a flutter in the low E and D notes, but by loosening my embouchure I have corrected that. When I play overtones from the bottom of the horn I find they are easier for me to produce with the Rigotti. The size adjustment is accomplished with a tiny hook and slot mechanism -- no directions. The plastic box the lig comes in has a magnifying loupe in the lid to help you see. The ligature slides over the mp and reed and holds by friction -- simple. And I think it looks cool. I use it on an Otto Link HR.
