Contrary to another review, I don't think these are chemically impregnated. They are simply excellent microfiber cleaning cloths. The fuzzy type microfiber cloths are great for dusting furnture but are terrible for guitars.

You don't need polish with this cloth. Did you know that 99% of guitar polishes is actually bad for the instrument?I've used these Planet Waves for two years now, even on $75000 instruments. No scratches, no build-up, just great. Why weren't these around for all the decades I have used the @#$% polish?

Planet Waves

Comments about D'Addario Planet Waves Microfiber Polishing Cloth:

I bought this along with the dunlop 65 polish and it works well for me. It cleans and polishes without leaving little scratches and smearing away dust and dirt. For me its a little pricey just for a cloth, but you get what you pay for. All in all, its a beast, get it.

Planet Waves Really Is The Best

Comments about D'Addario Planet Waves Microfiber Polishing Cloth:

You can't go wrong with planet waves. I was hesitant to spend that much on a cloth when there were cheaper ones, but I know Planet Waves makes some of the best accassories out there. It was money well spent. This thing is super fine and it doesn't leave fuzzies behind like my yellow Fender cloth. No micro scratches from this thing either.

Comments about D'Addario Planet Waves Microfiber Polishing Cloth:

I love these cloths and I have one in the case of every guitar I own. They're super soft and really take off fingerprints & dust. Just don't put it through the washer & dryer like I accidentally did unknowingly by it falling off my work bench and into the laundry basket. My wife must've thought I wanted it washed and when I got it back it had shrunk. So if you need to clean it just hand wash & air dry it.

Comments about D'Addario Planet Waves Microfiber Polishing Cloth:

If you play, you need to keep a towel/cloth in your case to keep your instrument and hands clean. This is a great cloth for that purpose. I always have a few of these around at gigs and they come in handy. Very useful for quickly getting sweat off your hands and gets rosin and gunk off your bass.

Comments about D'Addario Planet Waves Microfiber Polishing Cloth:

The fact that this cloth is impregnated with a polish makes it more useful than your typical cloth. It will restore the luster to the finish between proper cleanings without the use of a separate spray. This is a great maintenance product, but not a replacement for a true protectant. I have had no issues with scratching.

Comments about D'Addario Planet Waves Microfiber Polishing Cloth:

Well, you can't really go wrong when buying a polish cloth. But this is the only one that you don't actually need polish... The cloth can actually take crud off by itself. Although it can't handle extreme amounts of wax buildup, if you wipe your instrument with this whenever you retire it for the night, It'll look like new, and people will notice.
