Comments about Bugera 112TS 80W 1x12 Guitar Speaker Cabinet:

I just wanted a relatively cheap 1x12 to run a small 18 watt hybrid combo with an 8" speaker (Kustom The Contender - a seriously great little gem of an amp) through so I decided to give this a shot. To my ear the turbosound speaker is warm and pretty neutral sounding, and it's broken in nicely. I primarily use this at home, but I've gigged with it several times. It's perfectly solid when cranked, no rattles or other issues. I primarily play clean-ish to low gain, with the occasional fuzz pedal. This cab sounds great with everything I put through it. I can't speak to how it would handle metal or the like. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Comments about Bugera 112TS 80W 1x12 Guitar Speaker Cabinet:

the problem I believe is that the frame is thin stamped metal and the magnet is heavy; one dropped carton during shipping misaligned the voice coil so that it rubbed and was non functional. I could have returned it but I wanted to avoid reshipping it. Instead I installed a VHT chrome back that I had sitting on a shelf. Sounds good now.
Another piece of evidence that it had been "bounced" is that all 4 speaker bolts were bent.

Comments about Bugera 112TS 80W 1x12 Guitar Speaker Cabinet:

I recently picked up a Blackstar HT-5R 5-watt 1x12" Tube Combo. I needed a good grab and go rehearsal amp, that was light and had a small footprint and that amp did the trick. It is loud enough for most rehearsal days but every once in a while I need that "extra push over the cliff"...."(You see, most blokes, you know, will be playing at ten. You're on ten here, all the way up, all the way up, all the way up, you're on ten on your guitar. Where can you go from there? Where?)" Thanks Nigel LOL.
So I looked at many reviews of 12" extension cabs of course starting with the Blackstar model. They we back ordered at the time, so I looked at this cab. I am glad I did. I really like the speaker in this cabinet and I hear a definite improvement in overall tone than when I am playing through the combo alone. I can't really define it, it just sounds better. BONUS...it was 90.00 less than the Blackstar cab. I am not worried about the different grille cloth and logo, some folks are bothered by such things. The combo sits perfectly on top of the combo and it sounds great. That is all I worry about. After extended use, if I encounter any issues, I will amend my review. For right now, I am quite content with this purchase.

Comments about Bugera 112TS 80W 1x12 Guitar Speaker Cabinet:

I was looking for an inexpensive external speaker and came across the Bugera. At first I was a bit skeptical, as Bugera is part of the Behringer family which is generally low-end both in price and quality. I had also not heard about Turbosound speakers so I did a little research and found out that they are quite good speakers. The construction quality seemed sound and light enough for my purposes - mostly jazz and R&B - so I made the jump and ordered the cabinet. When it arrived, I was quite impressed! Both the build quality and looks of the cabinet were great. I tested it out with my Mesa Boogie DC-3 and it sounded amazing. The speaker is a bit more mellow and provided a full and pleasant contrast to the Celestion Vintage 30 in the Boogie. Last night I had my first gig with it (I stacked the Boogie on the Bugera) and received comments on the fullness of my sound, which I can only attribute to the adding of the Bugera cab. It's also really well-made and seems like it should serve my purposes. Time will tell, but for now, I am very happy with my purchase.
