Hardcore 120W 3-channel tube combo with reverb and integrated reverb.

The 333-212 is a cutting-edge, modern-style amp fully featured for use in any situation or guitar style. The name says it all 3, 3, 3 ¦ three fully independent channels for three fully independent gain structures and tone stacks.

The totally clean Clean channel that won™t break up ¦ great for jazz, country, blues and also great as a fat clean power base for players using external boxes for their OD and distortion.

The Crunch channel can work as a "halfway dirty" sound for rock and blues if you crank the volume and use the gain as your volume. It shines as the heavy rhythm channel for a metal rig if you crank the gain. The Lead channel has the same structure as the crunch channel but with access to more gain.

Each of these channels has its own volume feeding the overall master volume so you have total control over the level of each. The boost option of the FX loop allows you to set each channel at the same volume and then boost or cut the volume of the entire amp no matter what channel is selected - you can finally boost your rhythm or clean tone (yes, clean solos do happen).

The EQ section is named œHYPER-ACTIVE because it allows for unlimited tone shaping and big scooped out metal tones via the midrange control. You have to hear this to appreciate how much more control you can get.

This is a closeout model, and does not feature Infinium technology.

  • Hand-built 120-watt amplifier driven by 4 x 6L6 valves (convertible to EL34)
  • Classic 3-channel preamp design (Clean, Crunch, Lead) featuring 4 x 12AX7 valves
  • Integrated high-class reverb with dedicated Reverb control
  • Independent equalizer sections for each channel with dedicated Bass, Mid and Treble control
  • Damping switch (High, Medium, Low) for total sound control
  • Impedance switch (4, 8 and 16 Ohm) to match virtually any speaker cabinet
  • FX Loop with independent Send and Return level controls also serves as Boost function
  • Heavy-duty footswitch for Channel selection and FX Loop/Boost function included
  • Line output with dedicated Level control

Comments about Bugera 333-212 120W 2x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp:

for starters the cleans on this thing is mind blowing! The eq on this thing is the most accurate I have ever used on a stock combo! The truly independent eq for each channel is so spot on that it gives you the ability to tweak like words cannot explain! The tube sound on here is so pure that I don't play my 5150 anymore for any reason. Last but not least the built in noise gain on this thing is a 10!!

Comments about Bugera 333-212 120W 2x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp:

I bought this amp on backorder and waited for three months to receive it. The one I ordered had the infinium circuit. The one I received was the older model (dated 2009 on the chassis). Bad for Musicians Friend. I have purchased many items on this website over the past 10 years. Lately they have gone WAAAAY down. I have not had a good experience in anything I bought lately. There has always been some problem. Yes, they are very good about returns--but what a hassle. I spent about three hours on the phone and with UPS repacking etc. Also, the first rep gave me his email and said he would deal with it, then never replied to any emails after that. Had to start over with another one.

Careful of buying the one listed as open box-MINT. It's probably the one I returned. At least they are listing it as open box. I have bought a lot of items on this site and the ones I receive have obvious signs of use, but are listed as new. If you want to pay new price for used items this is the place to get them.

Is this an amp or an extremely expensive radio? Picked up the local radio station very loudly through the amp. Great if you want to play along. Not so great if you like a quiet amp. And it doesn't come with a dial to change the station.

This amp is extremely heavy. I hurt my back lifting it out of the box (and putting it back in to return it. Thanks MFers -musician's friend? or something else!!)

Also, this amp is rated at 120 watts. It is not. Do not be misled. It is 120 watts at 4 ohms. It is wired with two 8 ohm speakers in series. That is a 16 ohm load. It would still be plenty loud, just be aware of the facts of what you are getting.

Worst buying experience ever ( have been playing guitar for 45 years). I will be very hesitant to buy from MFers again. Gave it one star. If I could I'd give negative 5 stars. 0 for the amp and negative 5 for the customer service.

Comments about Bugera 333-212 120W 2x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp:

I am a pro with over 30 years experience. I have owned Marshalls, Soldanos, one of my favs before this was my vintage Fender Pro Reverb. This amp is overall the best of the bunch. The three channels allow me to set up three awesome tones. I use an Eric Johnson style clean tone with a little delay on it. The crunch channel exceeds the beautiful blues tones I got from the Pro Reverb. And the lead channel will go toe to toe with any Marshall or Soldano. It is a Godsend fro those of us who used to lug multiple amps. The power is perfect for any club or small auditorium. I am going to order the 212 cab to go with it for any outdoor gigs where I need that little extra...
