Awsome Cab

The sound of this unit is fairly bright. It has more top end than the Ashdown and better tone over the Hartkey 410 with aluminum drivers. Not that the Hartkey or Ashdown stuff is garbage because I love their equipment (especially Ashdown) it's just that my ear likes the sound of the GK better.

The sweet thing is that I can use a p-bass and run the EQ flat and the sound is amazing! I recommend this cab and it's even light enough to pick up with one hand! Very cool!
I've used Hartkey and Ashdown cabs before, but they never had what this cab has. Bi-amped horn, 1/4" and Speakon, and an L-pad to reduce the highs. To add some extra thump the cab is ported and they don't make a lot of port noise when driving low notes! Locking corners, this cab is amazing!
The cab is well built, but light. I'm a speaker designer and the drivers in this unit aren't cheap looking. You can generally tell this by looking at the edge of the speaker where the screws hold it. Inexpensive speakers usually have thin pressed steel baskets, these ones are heavy looking and seem to be well made.
400W 2-10 cab, horn, awesome sound; for this price, what's not to like?

Nice cabinet

I use this for rehearsal and match it with a G-K 1X15 live. I find it has a very clean sound in the mix with my rock band, that cuts through two loud guitars. I personally like a more modern sound; this cabinet produces nice deep lows, but retains definition across frequencies. The bi-amping is a nice feature, if you have an amplifier that supports it. It gets moved a lot, and the light weight is a big benefit.Had it over two years, during which it has been well used but not abused. No problems to report.

Great little cabinet

This speaker cabinet is well constructed and sounds great with my G-K amp. Solid lows, great mids and crisp highs. Bi-amp feature is a big plus when using a 6-string or 10-string bass. Relatively lightweight and portable, too. It's a great compliment to a Hartke hyDrive 1x15 cab or similar, or even by itself, for smaller venues or rehersals.
