Bring the unmistakable movement and dimension of a classic Leslie into the room with the power and definition required for modern performance. The Leslie 3500W rotary speaker draws on elements of the 122/142 Heritage models, combining vintage-inspired acoustic design with 300W of bi-amplified power for stage, church, institutional and studio applications. The same horn, horn driver and woofer designs used in the 122H/142H Heritage models help reproduce the character associated with classic Leslie cabinets, while 11-pin connectivity provides direct integration with compatible Hammond organs. A 1/4" line-level input opens the rotary experience to other electronic instruments without requiring an external preamp box, and the traditional walnut cabinet brings the familiar appearance of a vintage Leslie into performance and recording spaces.

Heritage Components Recreate Classic Leslie Character

The treble section uses the same pre-1970s-style horn and horn driver found in the 122H and 142H vintage reproduction models, with the driver based on the original V-21 design to recreate its response and physical characteristics. A dedicated horn-level control allows the treble rotor to be balanced precisely against the woofer, which was developed to reproduce the vintage 122 C15L character while accommodating the higher output of the modern amplification system. Independent controls for the rise time, fall time and slow and fast speeds of both treble and bass rotors provide further control over the movement and response of the rotary effect.

EQ Overdrive and Bass Output Expand Tonal Control

A three-band EQ gives musicians control over bass, midrange and treble content, allowing the speaker to be tailored to the instrument, room or performance. The transistor preamp is based on the push-pull amplifier approach used in vintage Leslie 330 models and adds adjustable overdrive, ranging from subtle warmth to more aggressive distortion through dedicated On/Off and Gain controls. When additional low-frequency reinforcement is needed, a separate Bass Out connection can feed a subwoofer, bass amplifier or PA system, with an adjustable low-pass frequency determining what is sent to the external system.

Traditional Walnut Cabinet Meets Modern Connectivity

The 3500W adopts the cabinet shape of the 122/142 Heritage models, with widened louvers designed to reflect internal resonance while dispersing sound efficiently into the room. Along with its 11-pin Hammond connection and 1/4" rotary input, the speaker provides stereo stationary outputs that can route compatible non-organ sounds from Hammond stage keyboards to a keyboard amplifier or PA, plus a dedicated footswitch connection for optional speed control. An 11-pin Power Remote function can also reproduce the traditional behavior of a Leslie powering up with a connected compatible organ. With its walnut furniture-style cabinet, 300W bi-amped design and Heritage-derived rotary components, the Hammond Leslie 3500W combines the visual and sonic traditions of classic Leslie speakers with expanded control for contemporary setups.
