100W of pure, colorful, dynamic, unmistakable Marshall tube tone.

From Marshall, the king of British sound, comes this amazing kit, packaged together for the ultimate half stack. The kit includes the Marshall MA Series MA100H 100W tube amp head and MA412 guitar speaker cabinet making it an outstanding full stack loaded with Marshall's legendary tone and power.

Marshall MA Series MA100H 100W Tube Guitar Amp Head
Marshall has always sought to provide outstanding tone to guitarists of every budget, and with the MA Series, all-tube Marshall tone is now more affordable than ever. The MA100H 100W tube head was carefully designed by Marshall's R&D team using the same basic principles as all Marshall amplifiers to deliver colorful, dynamic, unmistakable Marshall tube tone in a road-ready package.

Attractive Looks
The aesthetics of the Marshall MA100H head have been specially designed to create a look that stands apart from most other Marshall amps, while still retaining the essence of what people have become familiar with for over 45 years. Two orange LEDs illuminate the interior of the amplifier head, highlighting the power tubes. This effect is visible through the fret cloth where the trusty white script logo is mounted onto a solid piece of transparent Perspex.

Tube Power And Tone Simply Executed
The MA100H amp head is powered using the traditional Marshall mainstays of ECC83 double triode tubes in the preamp, and EL34 pentode tubes in the power amp. The amp head's layout and controls are kept simple, allowing you to explore unhindered the full potential of the all-tube tone within. The MA100H has separate EQ stages for both the Clean and Overdrive channels so you can optimally adjust each one without compromising the other. An extra benefit has been provided in the form of a tube-driven Boost function on the OD channel giving you, for example, a solo boost with more volume and gain. The Marshall amp also contains a spring reverb for use with all channels within the amp.

Intuitive and Practical
The MA100H amp head was designed with the flexible control demanded by today's players in mind, but with a streamlined feature set to keep it cost effective. Whether in your own home or gigging, setting up the sounds and relative levels is very easy. The supplied footswitch assists live performance letting guitarists toggle between settings like Clean to Overdrive, Clean to Boosted Overdrive, and Overdrive to Boosted Overdrive, ensuring maximum versatility.

Even though the MA range is designed as a no-frills, all-tube guitar amplifier, Marshall included a couple of extra features that allow for even more versatility. In addition to the all-tube preamp and power amp tone, Marshall MA amplifiers are equipped with an onboard spring reverb tank for an extra dimension to your sound. With the front-panel level control you can easily dial in how much you need for your own taste. All MA guitar amps are also equipped with a serial external effects loop for guitarists who want to add effects units into their sound. The nominal level of -10dBV is suited to stompboxes primarily, but not exclusively.

Marshall MA Series MA412 Guitar Speaker Cabinet
The Marshall MA412 guitar speaker cabinet was specially designed to complement the unmistakable Marshall tone of the affordable all-tube amp heads from the MA series. Loaded with four 12" Eminence AX-75 speakers and priced for the working musician.

Comments about Marshall MA100H and MA412 Half Stack:

I have played this amp. I do not understand the bad reviews. This amp is pure raw tube and does as advertised. I will be getting one soon. Honestly, when i get mine, i will take the pepsi challenge with it any day of the week. i guarantee if it said made in UK and had a 2000 dollar price tag people would be saying how great it is. If you want simple Raw Marshall Tone get this. I am!

Comments about Marshall MA100H and MA412 Half Stack:

First let me go ahead and get to the point. The bad Marshall reviews are from people that hasn't got into tubing yet. I got the head today and was ofcourse disappointed with the stock factory tubes. These are just trash so do yourself a favor and throw them away. I replaced all with GT's and found my heaven. It lacks some but it is the closest thing you will find in ending your tone search at this price. What it is lacking can be and will fixed with post effects. Did you understand? Just replace the tubes and crank that gain up to half to 3/4 and you will be finished for awhile. I also used a Les Paul and a tall vintage 25 watt speaker cqbinet. Yes you got to spend some to be like your hero's. They do not play cheap you know. So do yourself a favor and retube this baby and I promise you will have all you need until better money times. Enjoy and pass the gift of music on!Steve

This Marshall Roars!

Comments about Marshall MA100H and MA412 Half Stack:

Its a great stack, im glad i came across this one.
Its got great sound with just plugging the guitar straight to it, thats what i did at my local Guitar center. I've always used solid Crates but i tried this baby out(MA100H), WOW, i've never thought this sound could be made without having to buy expensive eqipment. Even the standard guitar would sound great. Oh make sure you have decent, right cables cause it makes a lot of difference if you dont want to hear unwanted sounds.
Quality is great, very well made. Its very heavy so you're getting a workout as well.
I think its a great buy, compared to other Marshalls its a lot cheaper for a working musician.

Comments about Marshall MA100H and MA412 Half Stack:

Tried this out at guitar center and was really disappointed, horrible tone. Really thin sounding, the distortion kinda sucked. The JVM was significantly better, but I am going to get the JCM

Sorry Marshall

Comments about Marshall MA100H and MA412 Half Stack:

So i heard about this new amp and i checked it out right away. i was very excited to hear about an inexpensive tube marshall so i headed to my local guitar center to give it a try. This amp does have one of the best clean channels ive heard but the distortion is a different story..... It produces the sound of an amp thats full up on distortion but the guitar volume is on around two so its like a clean muddy bad distortion. For my playing style which is alternative punk rock it was terrible but it could be good for jazzy styles i guess. Anyway i think marshall messed up on this one and doubt it will sell.
