Comments about Peavey Delta Blues 30W 1x15 Tube Combo Guitar Amp:

I've been playing acoustic guitar for 34+ years. I've tinkered but finally got serious about electric a little over 5 years ago. In that five years I've went through several amps, tube and solid state. I've still got other's including Fenders, Palmer, Marshal & an old Epiphone tube amp, but this is my go-to amp. Such a sweet clean, I just love it. I've not used the dirty channel much as I just don't play that style but I have tinkered with it a bit and it sounds good to me but you would have to be the true judge of that. My Palmer Fat 50 is my second choice but those are hard to find here in the USA. To me the Peavey Delta Blues with the 15" is a Fender killer! So yes, I would recommend this to friends over and over and over. I actually use the Tremolo on one song our band does and it is pleasing to us but again as with dirty channels, I don't have a lot of experience with tremolos either. Reverb is another thing that is a personal choice with players, I happen to like the reverb on this amp, you just have to listen for yourself. Check out comparison videos on Youtube of this amp and Fenders! You might just be amazed!

The only con I could think of is it is heavy but not any more so than any of my other tube amps. One of the main reasons I tried this amp is I was tired of lugging around my 1982 Fender Bassman 10

Comments about Peavey Delta Blues 30W 1x15 Tube Combo Guitar Amp:

I love the looks of this amp... however, it took me some time to find the sweet spots in this amp with the controls... I found it to be really bright with the Mid/Treb knobs at 12 noon... in order to get that nice meaty throaty sound without the high end ringing, I found that turning the Mid/Treb knobs to 9/10 o'clock made all the difference in to world. I can then control the high end using the guitar controls. Did I mention the power? This amp has a set that is plenty big to get the job done. Hands down a GREAT amp for the money!

Bought this thing years ago and have been lovingly beating it up ever since. Great amp. Lots of bottom end (I like big butts). Clean and dirty sides both shine. Can't say enough good. Buy it!

Comments about Peavey Delta Blues 30W 1x15 Tube Combo Guitar Amp:

I've only heard these on youtube and they sound fantastic! I'd like to buy one, but I read a comment on these somewhere and the person said his circuit board fried and that Peavy has discontinued this part.
I found this hard to believe as they're still selling new ones, so I called Peavy Parts and sure enough...it's true!
I've also read reviews where folks have said their Delta Blues amp is still going strong after 15 years, but just be aware, if the circuit board fails, you're SOL. I'm writing this because I feel like Peavy should support their products still being sold new today.

Comments about Peavey Delta Blues 30W 1x15 Tube Combo Guitar Amp:

I purchased this amp several years ago and it is one solid piece of gear. Where it really shines is its clean channel. And if you place some effects/processer in front, it becomes a real killer. I went for the 15" instead of the 2x10 because I wanted the extra bottom for blues. If it didn't work out I planned on changing the baffle to the 2x10. To my surprise not only did I get the extra bottom, the highs sparkled too. This is a great voiced speaker.

I own many quality amps (Fender, Marshall, Peavey, Roland, Crate, Vox, Line 6, Trace Elliot) everything from a full stack Plexi to a Vibro-King, and this Delta Blues can hang with any of them. I recently put some casters on it because it is heavy, but hey….it's all tube. It is also a looker with nice covering & hardware.

For those who haven't tried one out I suggest you do. It was exactly what I was looking for and it could be for you too.

Comments about Peavey Delta Blues 30W 1x15 Tube Combo Guitar Amp:

This amp puts out some of the best tone you can get. It keeps up with Fenders that cost twice as much. The cleans are full and rich. The dirty can take you from a slight break up all the way through hard rock. It's got enough volume to carry any room but doesn't blow you out of the house either. I really can't say enough good things about it.

The sound I want is easy to retrieve. Love the warmth of tube amp using it W/ my style of music. I was not expecting it to sound as another brand I have but does at a less expensive price.

Comments about Peavey Delta Blues 30W 1x15 Tube Combo Guitar Amp:

My Peavey Delta Blues 115 ii is a US built amp made in June 2014.

The amp replaced a highly modified Fender Hot Rod DeVille which had been tamed from too aggressive gain and drive.

In comparison, this Peavey is warmer sounding. The overdrive has a wider useful range and definitely leans towards the creamy buttery side of distortion.

The quality of fit and finish is very high and the amp is pretty quiet. The reverb, overdrive and tremolo are musical and not overdone. The single 15" is not bass heavy but does produce a warmer richer vibe than the 12" found in the Classic 30, an excellent amp that I also own.
