Comments about Paiste 2002 Wild Crash Cymbal:

I use the 18" Wild Crash along with my 17" thin crash and 16" crash ( all 2002 ). The Wild crash has a very different sound from the other two, yet plays well with others!

Comments about Paiste 2002 Wild Crash Cymbal:

I just bought this cymbal yesterday and am already addicted to it! It's such a dark cymbal that it cuts through any other cymbals, even a bell! I purchased the 20 inch and could not be happier!

Comments about Paiste 2002 Wild Crash Cymbal:

i have mixed feelings about this cymbal. i picked it up because i needed something to keep up with my band's fat guitar tones. suffice it to say, the cymbal definately delivered there. it is LOUD, almost deafeningly so and thats also my problem with it. although the smaller sizes may not have this problem, the 20'' has to be hit sorta hard to get the tone out of it, however, when you do wail on it, everyone in the room better have earplugs. having said that, paiste did deliver what they promised- a WILD crash. i will say it is a stunningly beautiful cymbal with a bright finish and attractive labeling and i did use it on one track that needed something loud. in the end, i returned it after about a week, not that i didnt want to keep it, but for the price, i couldnt justify having it if i was only going to use it sparingly. however, if you pick up a different size (like i might do) or if just need something that will hold its own against a wall of guitars, PICK ONE UP. just beware kiddies, mom and dad probly wont appreciate you practicing with this one in your room.
