sE Electronics V8 MC2 Dynamic Microphone Capsule - Gray

Bring the clarity, control and stage-ready character of the V8 to a wireless vocal rig without giving up the freedom to move. The sE Electronics V8 MC2 dynamic wireless microphone capsule is designed for compatible Sennheiser wireless handheld transmitters and features sE's newly developed DMCV8 capsule for detailed, natural vocal reproduction. Building on the V7 platform, its response combines extended lows, controlled mids and articulate highs for an open, polished vocal sound before additional EQ. A tightly focused supercardioid pattern provides strong off-axis rejection and excellent gain-before-feedback, helping vocals remain defined against loud monitors, instruments and other sources on demanding stages.

DMCV8 Capsule Brings Premium Vocal Detail to Wireless Systems

The DMCV8 dynamic capsule is engineered to capture vocal nuance while maintaining the projection required for professional live performance. Its extended low-frequency response provides body, a balanced midrange keeps the voice controlled, and detailed highs add definition while maintaining a natural presentation. The supercardioid pickup pattern concentrates sensitivity toward the performer while minimizing unwanted off-axis sound, giving singers greater isolation and helping the vocal maintain a clear position in dense live mixes.

Integrated Shockmount Reduces Handling Noise

A newly patented internal shockmount helps isolate the capsule from handling noise and unwanted mechanical vibration while providing additional protection against physical impact. The rugged all-metal housing and spring-steel mesh grille are designed to withstand touring use, with dent- and corrosion-resistant construction supporting consistent performance from show to show. A beveled edge helps prevent the capsule from rolling when placed on a flat surface, while its gold-plated connector provides a reliable, corrosion-resistant connection to compatible wireless transmitters.

Two Finishes Suit a Range of Stage Setups

The V8 MC2 Graphite Gray features a refined modern finish designed to resist fingerprints, while the Matte Black version provides a discreet stage appearance for performers who prefer understated hardware. Measuring 2.1" x 3.5" and weighing 5.6 oz., the compact capsule integrates directly with compatible Sennheiser wireless handheld transmitters for a streamlined performance setup. The sE Electronics V8 MC2 includes a leatherette pouch, thread protection cover, black internal windscreen and microfiber polishing cloth for protection, transport and everyday care.
