Comments about Shure Motiv MVi Digital Audio Interface with USB and Lightning Cables Included:
I just bought the Shure MVi and honestly have not used all its functions as of this review. What impressed me and lead me to give it 5☆☆☆☆☆ was the absense of all that noise the competition's USB connection generates (I use a Mac iPad and iPhone, which has Thunder Cable). Maybe some flaws or cons will turn up after it is used for a while, even so, it is better than the rig that was being used prior to the Shure. I cannot see how this would useful for professional recording or even playing live events - yes, I know it is possible but I feel that I have more control with a hardware setup vs. a software setup.
