Comments about Fibracell Premier Synthetic Baritone Saxophone Reed:
After all the usual searching for the right reed for the right sound, and after trying several other artificial reeds, I found the Fibracell gave me the sound I had been looking for along with the control and consistency I needed.

Comments about Fibracell Premier Synthetic Baritone Saxophone Reed:
I took up the bari sax late in life as a secondary instrument and found cane reeds difficult and inconsistent. The Fibracell is amazing. I use the 1.5 with smaller ensembles and the 2 with larger ones. They last much longer than cane, so the price is well worth it.

Comments about Fibracell Premier Synthetic Baritone Saxophone Reed:
I tried some plastic reeds many years ago, and was disappointed, so I was surprised to learn many of my trusted colleagues were using and recommending Fibracell. On their advice, I tried them out.
I was positively blown away by the responsiveness and brightness of these reeds. I felt like my bari went from being a go-cart to a race car. They sound good and they feel great. And they don't need to be wet, so they're great for a gig where your horn sits for long periods, such as a musical theater pit (which is where I first used mine).
The one thing to be aware of is that they brighten the sound considerably and crank up the volume a bit. If you don't want a bit of a buzz in your tone, stick with cane. But if that's not a breaking point, I recommend switching to Fibracell and never looking back.

Comments about Fibracell Premier Synthetic Baritone Saxophone Reed:
These reeds are consistent and hold their shape without warping. They feel and sound much better than other plastic reeds. They last much longer than a natural reed, although they will turn a little dead sounding over time. I love them because they react positively throughout the range of the sax, and there are no surprises. And the next reed is very similar to the last one.

Comments about Fibracell Premier Synthetic Baritone Saxophone Reed:
This is my daughters new favorite reed. We switched to synthetic after 4 years of traditional reeds, and she immediately noticed the fuller, richer sound. She plays in two high school bands and one of these reeds lasted her a semester and a half, which saved me a ton of money because she is normally pretty hard on her reeds.
