Comments about Jewel Fabric Ligatures:
Have to admit it makes playing easy, but the design of the lig looks like a screwdriver is coming out of your mouthpiece. I then bought a Rovner star series lig that plays easy also, but looks cooler.

Excellent product
Comments about Jewel Fabric Ligatures:
Reasonably priced, high quality fabric-type tenor sax ligature. Excellent way to sample differences of using "classic string" type ligature. Not as dark playing as most heavy synthetic ligatures, like the heavier Rovners, which are also excellent. The Jewel is very useful for jazz styles. Improves abilities to play at both low and high ends of registers. Helps quiet, pianissimo styles particularly well. Also effective for use with lighter reeds and for older players or intermediates seeking variety in styles. I like it so much with my Mark VI tenor that I have ordered another for my alto. Although it is recommended for use with hard rubber mouthpieces like the Otto Link, it also works very well with those lkie the classic Brilhart 4* plastic tenor mouthpiece. Can't say how it would work with metal, since I don't use those. Well worth the low cost. Any serious player should have one of these in the case. Especially helpful when the lip gets tired at the end of a long session.
