The sound of a metal mouthpiece for the price of hard rubber.
JodyJazzs Classic Series Baritone mouthpiece is designed to get the job done in any performance situation. The mouthpiece can sound bright and powerful or dark and mellow due to the patented removable baffle called a spoiler. With the spoiler in place, the sound is great for many styles of music including jazz, rock, funk, and top 40. Without the spoiler, the roundish square chamber takes over and produces a dark, focused sound that is great for concert band and small ensembles. Either way, the JodyJazz Classic Baritone Saxophone Mouthpiece is robust and responsive in the low register with an altissimo that is warm and in tune.

Comments about Jody Jazz Classic Baritone Saxophone Mouthpiece:
Very workable and pleasurable piece to play--- easy to center the sound, good intonation and eveness through all registers, easy to find reeds that worked weel with it, with little fuss or muss, especially once I subbed out teh Rico H lig with the Rovener.
Love it, but love it even beter with a Rovener ligature-- the supplied Rico H-Ligature was insecure, and didn't give me the flexibility of reed positions, and I felt it had more potential to both slip or, needing to be over-tightened, mark up the mouthpiece.
Especially since I caught the Holiday Sale online!!
